1. Where are you from?

Born in the US, grew up in Argentina.

2. What do you do for a living?

I'm a Professor.

What and where do you teach?

I teach economics and public policy at Cornell University.

3. If you aren’t from Ithaca, what brought you here?
Work :)

4. What brought you into CFP?
I Heard fantastic things about it, and home workouts are no substitute for CF!

5. What keeps you coming to CFP?
So much! Coaches are amazing. A fun and encouraging community of athletes (shoutout to 6pm!). Variety of workouts.

6. What are some CrossFit goals you’ve crossed off of your list?
Attending regularly, first of all. Most recently, my first strict hspu!

7. What are some future goals you have here at Pallas?
Overall, improving my gymnastics movements. My next objective is getting a BMU (maybe in a year?).

8. What’s your favorite movement?
Deadlifts!

9. What’s your least favorite movement?
OH squats... need better shoulder mobility!

10. Chipper, couplet, strength, burner, all/none?
All, enjoy the variety.

11. Where is/was your favorite vacation spot?
Always love going to Miami.

12. Where’s your favorite place to eat in Ithaca?
BBQ/picnic at Stewart Park.

13. What’s your favorite dish to cook at home?
Whenever I have enough time: Empanadas!

What do you like to put in your empanadas?

Beef empanadas mainly! Sometime cheese and onion.

Summer

15. Do you have a favorite book or author?
Jorge Luis Borges

16. What would you tell someone hesitant about starting CrossFit?
It's not as extreme as it is usually perceived! All movements have scaling options and you can go at your own pace - so no matter the workout, you are always able to do the workout at your own pace and comfort level. Give it a try!
